The collection consists primarily of newspaper clippings and articles relating to the Foggy Bottom neighborhood in Washington, D.C. The content of many of these articles deals with George Washington University's expansion into the Foggy Bottom neighborhood and related issues. The collection also contains articles on the Watergate complex, the International Monetary Fund building, homeless shelters, the Red Cross building, and the Kennedy Center. Many of these articles document the residents of Foggy Bottom's resistance to the expansion of the previously mentioned organizations and businesses into their neighborhood. This collection also contains a few special interest pieces on some of the residents and businesses in Foggy Bottom.
